The Age Old Debate Part 3

Short and quick, just another thought

Most comments coming in are stating it is wrong and CHEAP to pass interference a WR.

However, is it wrong for a offensive team to take a delay of game on 4th down to back themselves up 5 yards when they are on the 50 yard line to give their punter more room. I am pretty sure most will say no. But this is the same thing. You are "breaking a rule" to gain an advantage.

In basketball, is it wrong to foul at the end of the game when you are down 5 points so the other team will have to go to the foul line. Most will say no but once again you are "breaking a rule" to try and get yourself and advantage.

I don't think anything is wrong with any of them.

If you think the 4th down punter delay of game or fouling basketball is ok but not pass interference, leave some comments on your reasoning of why "breaking rules" to gain competitive advantage is ok sometimes but other times it is just CHEAP.

Just giving some more food for thought on this early sat morning (3:23 am)
Peace

Look, it's the same deal. If you are in a position where taking a delay of game is a good option, it's because you sucked enough to not get a first down. Again, just because you sucked enough to get in a bad spot doesn't give you the excuse to be a douche on the field.
